Project Backbone - System Infrastructure & Backup Architecture

Behind every smart home system is a critical backbone that ensures reliability, performance, and long-term stability. This project focuses on the core infrastructure that supports all automation, lighting, security, and AV systems throughout the home.

The design includes centralised service racks housing all essential network, control, and integration equipment, ensuring every system operates from a stable and well-organised foundation. Structured cabling was installed throughout the property to separate and optimise data, AV, lighting control, and security systems for maximum performance and reliability.

A dedicated backup and redundancy strategy was implemented to protect system programming, configurations, and critical automation data. This ensures fast recovery, system continuity, and long-term supportability for the entire smart home ecosystem.

From detailed rack buildouts to precision cable management and system commissioning, every element was engineered to deliver a robust, future-ready infrastructure capable of supporting complex integrated technologies.
